Forgetting Sarah Marshall…..some decent laughs

I’m finding alot of recent comedy films just don’t cut the mustard for me. I enjoyed Superbad, but Knocked Up was lame….and I’ve totally missed the boat on Seth Rogen. Why is this guy being heralded as the new savior of comedy? Did I miss something?
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is in the same ilk as these recent comedies. They all seem to feature the same bunch of guys too…what’s with that? Paul Rudd pops up, Jonah Hill has a look in and Bill Hadar gives his two cents. None of them really do much for me, at least not yet. Surely a few of these guys need some more decent films under their belt before we hail them as heroes?
Sarah Marshall is an ok film. It throws out some good laughs and the plot is compelling enough to keep us watching throughout. It did its job…I guess that’s all we can hope for these days.

I thought the film was decent enough….it kept me occupied on the plane and I laughed out loud a couple of times.
